  • Comments Thread For: Kovalev Felony Assault Case To Begin Jury Trial November 25

For better or for worse, November will be a month which Sergey Kovalev will never forget. The light heavyweight titlist from Russia is deep into training for the second defense of his third reign, coming in a Nov. 2 superfight versus Mexico's Saul Canelo' Alvarez (52-1-2, 35KOs) at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. What lies ahead, however, is perhaps a more significant fight-one outside the ring and which will mark the official starting point to determine whether he remains a free man.

Allowed his day in court. But he’s gonna get murdered by Alvarez a la Cotto-Martinez. And then maybe go to jail

I still got it a 50/50 fight. Kovalev will go in with mean intentions every swing so Canelo better be on his A Game with defense

sounds like kovalev is a proper scumbag. he and his friend followed her home, kovalev tried to have *** with her, and broke her nose and injured her neck when she refused. doesn't sound like there is a ton of guesswork to be done here. i expect that he gets off light in criminal court, but pays out the ass in civil court. hopefully his career is over if this is true. and shame on dazn if they've read the police report and any medical reports and let the fight go on.

The felony charge has to be effecting his state of mind and ability to focus 100% on the upcoming fight. Since this a felony charge it could result in substantial prison time for Kovalev if found guilty. The civil suit for $8 million will probably follow even if he is found innocent in criminal court.

He's going to prison. That's why he's cashing out with Canelo

Damn this def look like a cashout for Kovalev!

But he’s fought with bigger problems on his mind before so I still expect him to knock out Canelo and show him weight classes matter and that he shouldn’t have ducked Andrade!

do you even know who Jamie Frontz is ?! She is the biggest gold digger in Cali.

You are going to take sides with some instagram whore (who never reported or posted any bruised photos) instead of a boxer and a family man? What are you a phag? or a boxing fan.

Hey this guy is a phag, ya’ll.
