You shouldn't put fan bases into neat groups like that because you will often be wrong. I am a fan of Loma, still a big fan of GGG after his less than expected showing against Dervy and I am a huge Inoue fan. I see no reason somebody couldn't be a big fan of Loma and GGG and also a fan of Inoue. I pick my favorites based only on the boxer and nothing else.
I give INOUE ZERO CREDIT FOR BEATING DONAIRE IF HE DOES

Loma has nothing to do with Inoue - Donaire. That fight was at 130, this is at 118. Hell, if anything, Inoue should get MORE credit if he wins, as he's a smaller fight.
Also, Loma got plenty of credit for beating Walters.
Very confusing thread.Comment

Doniare takes a lot of crap and is one of the fighters that steps up to fight the top of the division.
Donaire went up in weight to fight a power puncher and lost after having him hurt. No shame in that.
Inoue is going to have to deal with a crafty veteran with a mean left hook. Donaire's kryptonite are movers.Comment

I think Inoue should be a big favorite but I'm more interested in how he beats him. If he blows him out in like 2 rounds it will show just how good this kid is. If he struggles and he barely gets by then maybe he's a bit overrated by some.
I personally think he's gonna destroy Donaire.Comment

Very unreasonable and illogical of you. Donaire is a champion at 118. He is rated 3rd in the world by Ring and boxrec. He did his part in the tournament. Donaire lost to Walters at 130 pounds. A weight he was too small for. It doesn't change him being one of the world's best at 118. Sure, Inoue will probably knock him out because Inoue looks like a great fighter who is unbeatable at 118. Still Inoue should get full credit for beating Donaire who is still one of the best at 118.Comment
