Today, SHOWTIME announced PARIAH: THE LIVES AND DEATHS OF SONNY LISTON, a SHOWTIME Sports documentary film, premiering on Friday, November 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Hopefully I can find this show, as I don’t have Showtimes. I’ve heard it said that Liston was the finest heavyweight of his era, and lost to Ali only because both fights were fixed. I suppose we’ll never know for sure.

Probably too late for any of those guys to get a shot at Liston tbh

Prizefighters story interest me though tragic they're true to life. Oscar Bonavena, Marcel Cerdan, Benny Kid Paret, Arturo Gatti, Edwin Valero, Alexis Arguello, Salvador Sanchez, Sonny Liston, Muhammad Ali, Diego Corrales, Pancho Villa, Hector Camacho. Agapito Sanchez, Vernon Forrest.

                How old was Sonny"

Sonny was 49 when he died in 1970.

So he was 44 when he fought Ali
