Did Brant take step aside money here? I thought he was due the rubber match next.

Wish I could say so but no he does not have a chance vs Murata
And my thinking is , he is far from ready for this kind of fight

Andrade or Murata? All paths probably lead to loss, but I'd have to give Butler somewhat better odds on this one. High KO ratio but against groceries, and in his sole 12 rounder to date he was TKOd in 7 by his countryman Brandon Cook, who was blasted out in 3 by the continuously disappointing Munguia on the Canelo-GGG2 card. Then again Murata isn't the most versatile guy in the world and lost a fun but one dimensional bout of rock em robots to the similarly limited Brant before (possibly) getting lucky in what looked set to be an exact rehash the next time around, so maybe Butler has some kind of legitimate chance.

I said he had A chance, not like a whole lotta chances! lol
Of course he isn't ready! But hey... like I said in a previous post: take the money and run. Put a cash down on a house... and the rest in a savings account. The guy is never gonna make it to the top, so...

Seems Brant turned down his rematch clause. Murata now needs a fight. Butler has choice for a title shot from both Andrade and Murata choosing Murata because they think he has a better chance winning that fight.

I wonder how much he would have gotten paid against Demetrius and how much he is getting paid for Murata.

Pretty sure the $$$ may have swayed his decision on taking the Murata fight.

How do these lousy fighters keep getting the keys to the palace, they should be begging, scrapping, and sweating for title fights, but seems you can just string a few fights together, then start dictating terms, madness.

Butler hits hard, harder than anyone Murata has faced yet. Good for Butler to see where he stands against a good boxer.
