I don't care if JT fought King Kong.

You don't fight guys from The Contender.

i agree although i'm actually fine seeing Contender suckas getting reality checks. Ishe was the only real contender on the whole first season.

Mosley and Estreda. Karmazan and Spinks
        much different levels

plus he freakin ran from him puh lease

          margarito

now in your opinion who should he fight

          Spinks- a former welterweight champion , current 154lb champion#
Baldomir - Real champ at 147
Margarto - paper champ who aint beat no world class fighters
It leaves PBF with a dilema, i will give you that.. Floyd has more options than those 3 if he'd stop being so greedy:

let's say Mosley, De La Hoya, Hatton, and Cotto "aren't ready"

there's still Margarito, Baldomir, possible Ouma-Powell winner, Quintana, Cintron...

but now you answer me a question, out of those 3 fighters you listed... who poses the least threat (and the one who Mayweather will get the least credit with a win over in the eyes of fans, media, etc)?

Baldomir- who's just won his last two fights where he was the underdog in both with Zab Judah and Arturo Gatti.. and hasn't lost a fight, btw, since 1999

Margarito- a guy who's won by TKO/KO in his last 7 fights (not counting his fight with Santos where the fight was stopped by a headbutt), and beat a then undefeated Kermit Cintron

Spinks- a guy who's just come back from a 17 month layoff after losing to Zab Judah in 2005, then wins a good couple rounds in the beginning of a fight with Karmazin, then runs the last 2-3 rounds to secure a title win (with the conclusion being more that Karmazin lost the fight than Spinks won it from a many number of people ringside for the fight)

          think carefully..

you make valid points but imagine the uproaor if he fough quintana or cintron who are largely un proven and not big nam e big money fights

also i doubt ouma or powell would be ready for a november fight when they fight in august in what will defo be a gruelling fight

to answer your question i would have 2 say Baldomir

because of the points you made he whupped judah an gatti hasnt lost in years is a huge welterweight and his confidence must be sky high

The fact still stands that Spinks has wins over better opposition than Margarito. Karmazin, Judah, and Mayorga are clearly better opposition than Cintron and 6Heads Lewis (especially a recently 3rd Round KO'd Lewis by Mayorga, who Spinks beat).

Spinks is not at all a bad opponent for Mayweather. Better than Margarito. If or when Mayweather fights Margarito, he will thoroughly dominate him and everyone who is currently talking great about Margarito will say "so what? everyone knew margarito was an overrated bum" when its over.
