    Golovkin's legs are gone

Golovkin was not himself that night. His legs are completly gone. When he had Derevyanchenko near the ropes he didn't even try to cut the ring off. I know Derevyanchenko is fast with his legs but Golovkin didn't even try. At his prime years GGG always made opponents uncomfortable by cutting the ring off. He took away space from his opponents. I think even Golovkin's stance changed a bit. It became more narrow I think, but maybe I am wrong. Just look at his footwork in Jacobs and Brook fights. Then watch any other fight that happened later. Starting from the first Canelo fight his footwork wasn't the same anymore.
Golovkin also is very slow on his feet going backwards. In Derevyanchenko fight he was either making one step back or just staying on the line.
Kovalev is much better on his feet. He is faster and can bounce back quickly. He can give Canelo problems.
I hope Golovkin was just ill that night. With this boxing he won't defeat Canelo.

If it's true, expect GGG to look rejuvenated and reborn.

It's problem for Kovalev as well actually - clearly not the same bounce and spring in his step as in his prime. Just take a look at first Pascal fight or Hopkins fight and compare to his more recent fights.
He can still move, but it's not the same.
I agree that Kovalev is not the same as he was. But he moves better than Golovkin and he doesn't rely on one punch as GGG does now. He boxes more I think. The problem for Kovalev is his stamina and chin. Golovkin is more durable.

The shots Kovalev ate flush from Yarde and was still standing, pretty sure his chin is still solid. Stamina also, ever since Buddy, he looks good stamina wise.

Completely gone? A guy who just went 12 grueling rounds getting blasted to the body by a heavy handed fighter is not "completely gone". Sure he has lost a step, but he has a few good fights left in him. Still has the best chin in boxing right now. I still think he should have went with a different trainer though, Roach or maybe Atlas.
