    GGG vs Sergio Martinez

So how do you guys see this fight turning out now that GGG has finally been tested by a few fighters.

Lets pretend Sergio never tried to cash out or suffered all those injuries: who do you guys have taking it for the middleweight crown?

Martinez. Triple G got his rep punishing b competition. Sergio was an elite southpaw counterpuncher. Just like I predicted prime Lara to beat Golovkin back in the day.

Triple G was always vulnerable. A shot Ouma showed holes in Golovkins defense.

Prime vs. prime? Man, that would have been a seriously interesting fight.

I'm going GGG by UD. The size and the power would -- I think -- have taken its decisive toll. But see, on the other hand, Martinez would have brought skills vastly different from anything Golovkin had seen. He could have kept up that ring movement and countering speed....

If we are talking prime vs prime ... Sergio had such great movement speed and power , I feel like Sergio could keep ggg off him and really give him problems. At the same time Sergio was prone to flash knockdowns. And GGG can really cut off the ring. Would be a great pickem fight.

            Martinez !

everyone forgets how slick/sharp he was

            I take prime Martinez

and he had more X-factor in big fights

everyone hits Golovkin with their best punch... Martinez was a slick southpaw with great timing

the Paul Williams KO was nasty

As much as I hate to say this but I think GGG would win this in his prime
Martinez will always be one of my favourite fighters and what a great southpaw he was
Always exciting and non predictable , which imo was one of his best traits
              Different angles and his speed
But GGG in his prime would hunt Martinez down , slowly cutting the ring off until he would trap him

                Sergio

GGG has never decisively beaten a single top Middleweight. And it's his own fault for passing on marquee fights against Charlo, BJS, Andrade, Ward, Lara, Canelo/Cotto/Brook at catchweights.

The four times he fought a top 5 MW he arguably lost every fight (Canelo 1 and 2, Jacobs, and Dervenchenko).

Sergio was better in big fights (JCC, PWill, Pavlik, etc) and had more variety to his game

Only one of them is a natural middleweight.

Martinez in his prime was 154
