The guy is a bulldozer. LOL

i have it right here in my composition book from last night haha.

      GGG 1, 2, 7, 11
      SD 3-6, 8-10, 12

I scored it 8-4 for SD, but there were a LOT OF CLOSE ROUNDS that could have gone either way so I can't cry robbery and not even mad at decision though I had SD winning. And trust me, I absolutely hate GGG. You can do a search of my posts, but when I judge fights, I'm not biased and call it like I see it. One thing for sure is that no one in the world can convince me GGG won rounds 5 and 10. In the 10th, GGG got beat up badly. I thought the 11th was very close but GGG landed the hardershots and the 7th was very close but I felt GGG did a little bit more. It's just my opinion.

So you didn’t score the first round 10-8
And what’s your reasoning on the 12 th round
Why did you give it to Derevychenko

If you watch the 12 round , GGG really connects quite often snapping Derevychenko back
Imo , GGG just got fughin old overnight
It happens to all boxers and now it’s up to him to decide how much more he will be willing to take and yeah nobody gonna change him or his style ( kind of like Kovalev who people are praising for his boxing accomplishments in his last fight without taking into consideration that it was Yarde he was fighting )
Doesn’t take much for someone who has boxed for the last 20 years to be dragged back into old vices
Yeah that was the notable thing for me as well, that kept GGG in a lot of those rounds...I was actually surprised to see the punch stats showing fairly even numbers in most of those rounds...but maybe there was.

I remember seeing SD being more active...and GGG landing a few big shots in those rounds where his shots seemed to more notably affect SD rather than vice versa...I do feel SD finally had some apparent damaging shots in the 10th and 11th rounds, where his work seemed to actually hurt GGG.

Besides that one shot in the 5th SD landed to the body, GGG just seemed to take everything else so well, so it was hard to say who was doing the most damage in some of those rounds.

Not sure what the stats show, but GGG just seemed to abandon the jab last night imo...the jab is what makes him great, it sets up everything else he does, and is his best defense...not sure why he went away from it...if it is due to age, then yeah he may want to retire or go on an 'easy' farewell tour.

Part of me wonders if GGG tried to not use the jab as much these last two fights due to the 'backlash' from the two Canelo fights...where many said GGG only won/was competitive due to his jab...saying that was all he had...maybe he wanted to try and show people he had other things...but not smart if so lol

            Promoter points

Love GGG but I replayed the fight 3 times and I still have him losing by one point at the very least. But this is boxing. All you had to do is read the GGG name of the canvas and it was a no brainer who was going to win before the 12round decision.

i was just naming the rounds I gave to whom. Of course the first round was 10-8. No debating that hahaha. It was a clean knockdown. NO controversy. I thought SD poured it on in the 12th and GGG was doing a lot more holding than throwing and landing. It's just the way I saw it. Still was a close round

Watch rd 8 again. That was a clear ggg rd. The first 2 minutes ggg dominated.

I was a big fan of his early in his career but then he just bored me
And my dislike of him being bigger as he was chasing around Canelo
Wasted many years and talent hanging around and waiting and that’s where many people have hatred for the man
Even now coming out and saying well if Canelo wants to do it we’ll do it
He’s like a fughin puppy who suffers from loneliness ( not the proper word but it won’t come to me )
Honestly , I think we just witnessed GGG getting old overnight
Canelo didn’t hurt him to the body and I guarantee you he hits harder that Dervyanchenko

I thought that was one of the easier rounds to score

Thanks man good post...yes I am probably as favorable as anyone on here about GGG/his career...but I try my best to call it like I see it as well...when two dudes step in there, I just look forward to seeing who the better man is...if one guy is better, he deserves the recognition.

Gotta respect men who step in there and put their bodies on the line, and gotta respect what SD did last night...he just wanted it more in my opinion...if he was just a bit more fortunate in a couple rounds, I think he could have had a straightforward 8-4 win in my book, which would have been a clear/not really debatable win for me.

Completely agree on the 5th, 10th and 11th rounds...5th was pretty clear for SD anyway...then he landed the body shot that pretty clearly hurt GGG.

10th round he was just beating GGG up/wailing on him for most of the round...GGG had a moment or two in that round as well I think, but I think SD even ended it in style, so I agree that one was clear for SD.

11 was probably GGG's best round, in terms of total work, in the fight...which tells how well SD did and how fortunate GGG was to get the W...that round was very competitive and I do think GGG edged it fairly clearly...but it was hardly a dominant round.

3,4,6,7,8,9,12 were all very tough rounds to score for me...I felt it was a bit fortunate for GGG to get even 3 of those rounds...and I gave him 4,6 and 9...GGG also fortunate to land a few big shots in rounds 1 and 2 which gave him a clear KD round and a pretty clear round in round 2.

Will be interesting to see what GGG's future holds...idk if he has anything left and he takes punches well, but eventually that will probably catch up to him.
