So all the fights between Canelo fans and “GGG groupies” on this board for the last two years have actually been fights between Canelo fans and objective boxing fans.

On this board, there’s people who thought there should be a third fight between the two of them and there’s crazy Canelo fans who will excuse everything their hero does.

I’m glad this fight was able to solve that debate.
So I guess people are not allowed to have tough fights. I remember when people were saying Pac was done after he got KOed by Marquez.

ESPN has done a great job marketing the UFC TBH (even thou at this point, UFC is a shell of what it once was).

Ggg lost. Even if he deserved the close decision he took so much of a beating it was already a loss regardless.

Yeah the promote UFC far more than they do Top Rank Boxing that is for sure

But also UFC does their job and Deliver Good Fights for their fans far more consistent than Boxing does

I mean to be fair though Canelo did fight Golovkin twice. Also Canelo going up to fight Kovalev is pretty impressive. Kovalev is a good power puncher, got real experience with top guys and is arguably a better conventional boxer than GGG is.

I like Golovkin and he accomplished great things in boxing but his defense isn’t where it should be. He simply cannot fight on the back foot.

I would say SD outworked Golovkin and deserved the win but then I realized SD's face was looking really bad so I guess GGG gets the win.

Fought whilst being unwell and still busted up Dery, knocked him down and landed more through the 12 rounds. Close fight, but like Eddie and Banks said not to take anything away from Dery's performance he didn't fight an opponent at 100%. Instead of being butthurt cry babies perhaps you should appreciate a fighter who was willing to fight whilst being unwell unlike the majority who would have called it off instantly. To be honest I don't blame any fighter calling it off because you put yourself at an unnecessary risk and disadvantage.

                      nah, that is rubbish

being forced to keep it real once, does not magically erase six years of bullshlt and excuses

they had no choice but to keep it real

                      want proof... ?

ok, lets discuss Ward... or Golovkin's total refusal to negotiate on weight with little old faded 153lb Cotto, despite being willing to defend against Rosado at 158... etc etc etc
