Despite who won...can we all agree Derevyanchenko did better than Canelo

I think Derevyanchenko has a way better case of winning than Canelo did...I mean my goodness he hurt Golovkin visibly to the body and bothered him to the head, he pieced him up with combo's, really pushed him back while not getting hit as much as Canelo did.

GGG couldn't really use his jab like he wanted to and like he could do Vs Canelo. He did more damage to GGG, hit him more, while getting hit less.

I think November 2 will be a very special night guys, Canelo might get blasted out.

Exactly. Canelo never got knocked down.

Canelo vs Derevyanchenko would be an entertaining fight, though. The styles would mesh better than with Golovkin.

True, but Derevyanchenko did better offensively no? I'd say Derevyanchenko won more rounds for sure...

If you decide who did better on a KD happening you can say Rocky Martinez did better than Errol Spence Vs Mikey. It's not a legit argument

Nelo out boxed him and then out Mexican'd him.

Nelo vs SD would be the same as with GGG. GGG doesn't have more than one game plan when he fights.

Nelo would box and **** vs guys like SD.

I know prior to the fight, GGG didn't think much of SD.
I do know GGG had a ton of respect for Nelo prior to fighting him.

The danger levels a guy perceives his opponent to be dictates how they fight that guy.

Nelo beat GGG and would do likewise to SD.

Nope, Canelo never got knocked down or got hit as much as SD did. Also, this version of GGG was softended up for SD by Canelo.

GGG took major damage in both fights but you're comparing apples to oranges because Canelo pressed the action on him while still being methodical and calculated. His counterpunching had GGG gun shy and he completely shut down his body attack. GGG-Serg was more of a slugfest with GGG loading up so heavily on his punches at times he was practically tripping over himself. In addition, that fight with Canelo caused him to question his identity as a fighter to the extent that he made the ill advised decision to abandon his trainer and rework his style. Basically, Canelo put an end to "Mexican style" GGG.

Why you wanna talk about old stuff? Let’s talk about the fight last night. No need to focus on Canelo’s shortcomings since he didn’t fight last night.
