This fight was a robbery. Sergei won this fight. He beat GGG to the punch all night long. He was able to get his punches off first. It definitely looks like it's time for Golovkin to retire.
    Pride is a mother****er.

All this performance did was literally remove any pressure that DAZN could bring to bear against Canelo to force the fight.

Kovalev in November, likely Andrade or Charlo in May 2020, maybe the other or a look at 168lbs for September, and when all the viable fights are used up, maybe Golovkin gets the call.

    It's over for Golovkin

Maybe this is why G avoided him last year only to be stripped of the very belt he fought for tonight

I thought Sergey won it close, but the knockdown cost him dear. Golovkin is getting slower and slower though, think it time for him to step out really, before an Andrade or Saunders outboxes him. Great fight, disgraceful booing, similar types to some of the so called fans on here..

Canelo still doesn't KO anyone. Not unless they're previously stopped in a round.

There was nothing controversial about the knockdown, what the hell is the article saying? That said, the signs were worrisome, if GGG doesn't have it easier next time, he should probably retire. When he was at his prime these guys were not ready for him, he is the oldest elite level member of the division and fight like this must have taken a toll on him. Why bother anymore? Why take so much damage to his health? He achieved everything any boxer would dream to achieve and earned a ton of money in the process. Zero interest in the third fight with Canelo from me. And I'm not convinced he will legitimately beat Dervy in the rematch.

Canelo will make a classic move, offer a fight with the winner from last night....Derevyanchenko vs Canelo, Cinco de Mayo 2020....offering the fans a better fight than another with ggg!

Yeah , I totally agree that he shouldn’t be fighting Canelo again
I believed that GGG won the first fight but was totally outclassed in the second one
I really don’t need to see a third fight , I’ve been saying this before last night’s fight , that I strongly believe Canelo would beat him even more decisive
