Close-ish fight. GGG took it by 2-3 rounds.

1 - GGG 10-8. Golovkin boxing off the backfoot well. Knocks SD down with unbalancing shot.
2 - GGG. SD cut badly from left hook. SD jabbing well (surprise??) Golovkin lands much harder shot.
3 - SD. Golovkin with much harder and cleaner shots, but SD wins with pure volume. Keeps hitting the body.
4 - GGG. Very close. SD's volume dropped a bit, Golovkin still landing clean sharp punches. Seems he's protecting his body a lot?
5 - SD. Golovkin looks hurt to the body. Barely throwing anything. Sergey is very aggressive.
6 - GGG. Golovkin easily takes the round. Sergey was taking a breather that round, or baiting him to land a killer to the body. We'll see how it goes next round.
7 - GGG. Close. He's still landing very clean punches. Sergey's volume dropping a bit, he got a couple of nice lefts through to the body. Good work. Golovkin breathing heavy.
8 - SD. Close again. Golovkin looks like he's settling in a little. Sergey doing very well, showing the whole repertoire. Still hitting that body. Very impressive dedication!
9 - SD. Close rounds. Sergey's volume is still incredibly high. G's getting outworked.
10 - GGG. Punishing Sergey, who's wobbly but is still throwing back a lot. Sergey took a lot that round.
11 - GGG. Very close again. G still landing much cleaner shots, Sergey still working hard but not nearly the same workrate.
12 - GGG. Very close.. again. Sergey was throwing a lot, but not very accurate. Golovkin landing crisp clean shots. G's never looked this tired ever before. Sergey was a bit wobbly, but energy level was still terrific.

Rozier and his team did an absolutely amazing job covering for that cut and making adjustments. Banks didn't do anything.
And we as fans were treated a FOTY candidate.

Let's see what the judges have. Per my score it's 8-4 +KD, but lots of very close rounds.

Yeah i dont rate Banks at all. Can’t see what GGG has gained joining him.

Dervyachenko should win, he was outworking Golovkin since the knockdown and worked over the body and landed more jabs!

                    7-5 Dervyachenko

What kind of camp did he have??
He may have just outgrew the division but thought he was more marketable at 160 with a possible 3rd Canelo fight looming. Or its too hard for his old body to cut weight like it used too.
