Am I the only guy who thinks the ref should have stopped the fight after the first Knockdown, It took 3 attempts for him to get up off the canvas, then when the ref had Vargas walk towards him he couldn't even walk straight, the fight should have been stopped right there, the ref knew how hurt he was since he jumped in there immediately to stop the fight, so why did he let it continue?

I would not have argued and I don't think Vargas would have either......but it was a big fight and Vargas is a warrior if nothing else.

Sorry to disagree, but Vargas is damaged goods. He lost it in the Trinidad fight, He was never the same after that fight, I think he became afraid of getting hit in his little chin chin

I have no doubt that Vargas' performance was pathetic, & of course he beat the count(& he does have heart) but I could tell from my tv screen that he couldn't continue, the man could barely walk straight. i don't know why the fight was allowed to continue.

he has risen before and put up great fights, but im with you. his time has come and gone.
