Comments Thread For: Derevyanchenko: GGG Won First Fight, Canelo Won Rematch

In a perfect world, Sergiy The Technician' Derevyanchenko would have preferred to face both Saul Canelo' Alvarez and Gennadiy GGG' Golovkin. The fact that he's facing one in place of the other doesn't bother the 33-year old middleweight contender, though, considering that he doesn't differentiate between the two.

    wrong title jake

“I thought that Golovkin won the first fight, I thought he was a little bit stronger,” notes the top-rated contender.” For the second fight, I agreed with the outcome. I thought Canelo won the fight.

“They were both very close fights.”

The headline doesn't match the article, just saying.

GGG won the first fight for sure as he stated and the second fight as well. If they fought the same exact fights and GGG was 7-8 years younger and had more left to give he would have won them both.

GGG got dogged in the second fight. He has mastered the art of blocking punches with his face. Don't be surprised if he gets knocked out tonight.

Exactly. Sure there's an argument that he won the first fight, but there is no argument for the second. Canelo stood with GGG in the middle of the ring and outboxed him straight up. GGG knew he had been bested, and that's why he ran to the locker room crying without giving an interview.

Canelo knocks him out if they fight a third time.

Who wrote this ****** headline? When I read it I was about to rip Derevyanchenko a new one. Cause we all know GGG easily won the first fight and although alot closer he edged the 2nd one too.
