wow, Pavlik versus McKart, I wish I knew about this, that is a very good matchup, definately as good as anything they put on FNF.

can't believe this got pushed to the 2nd page so quick... (too many Margo, Floyd threads apparently)
I thought OLN/Top Rank started things off very well with this first broadcast.. the announcers were very decent considering..
Did anyone else think their 'punch stat' was not counting enough punches that they thought missed? I felt that way looking at the figures for both Thompson and Pavlik in their respective matches.
Both the two announced fights went very well IMO, and i was happy to see them broadcast an additional two more contests..
The only problem i see is a lack of consistency in that their only doing one televised live card a month i think (other than the classic fights they show in the other weeks), FNFs will always have that edge if they'd ever expect to compete. (I understand, though, that OLN is 'testing the waters' i'd assume for now.)
Overall, great show, looking forward to the future programming.. (they're showing Ali vs. Bonavena next week)

OLN was good although for some reason the first fight kept pausing. Thompson its an OK fighter but he gets careless at times. Pavlik was hurt with a body shot in the fight and Bronco basically was to tired and gave up. A good win but not great from Pavlik.

That quote unquote "knockdown" was more than obviously a slip/trip on Pavlik's part.. can't say i loved the officiating the whole night.
And although past his prime i'd say, Pavlik did stop a guy that's never previously been TKO/KO'ed before in his past 54 pro fights... i think some credit is due there as well.
Rockin' i knew you said you trained with him before, what'd you think of the fight? Any chance you'll talk to Bronco?
