Also it’s hilarious that people consider Derevyanchenko a safe fight now after Canelo tried to make a fight with him but couldn’t come to terms to make the fight. I doubt most here would be calling it a safe fight had they come to terms. Anyway, I like both Canelo (despite the failed test) and Golovkin but I’ve had a gut feeling GGG May lose this fight since they started negotiating to fight.
Derevyanchenko does appear to be a less risky fight than Andrade, for the same amount of money (GGG has a set contract). So why not choose the less risky fight? Can’t be mad at him for that. But he did it. I don’t have an issue with his hustle, but he did it.
If Derevyanchenko ends up being a really good fight for GGG, great for us fans. But GGG did go for the lesser risk fight.

Do you guys take trainers words as gospel? So then do you agree with GGG’s former trainer, Abel Sanchez, in his opinion of the fight WHILE he was still GGG’s trainer?

This is not necessarily about Derev, it’s that Andrade is a tougher style, a higher risk fight. Not that Derevyanchenko is a “safe” fight. No where in my post did I say that or even disrespected Derevyanchenko in anyway, I don’t even think I mentioned him.
