Comments Thread For: Golovkin: Going To 168 Would Be Temporary - I'm Natural 160

Former middleweight world champion Gennadiy "GGG" Golovkin (39-1-1, 35 KOs) has no intention of moving up in weight - unless the right fight comes along. Golovkin is back on Saturday night, when he faces Brooklyn-based Ukrainian challenger Sergiy Derevyanchenko (13-1, 10 KOs) for the vacant IBF/IBO world middleweight titles at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The biggest ******** coward of all time. Canelo doing big thangs by moving up, yet this bum can’t do the same? Go away, no one will miss you, Mr. EBT.

Agree, it's doable but probably not on his radar.

No issue there...there are good fights now at 160 as well so if he has a few fights left in him then hopefully he mixes it up with some good guys on the way out...if he looks bad vs Dervy I think he should just consider cashing out though...maybe Murata then hope/beg for Canelo fight if that's what he really wants

                  Why Murata over Andrade?

If he is shot he may as well cash out...if he still has some juice left, then yes Andrade would be number 1 choice at 160 imo (if no Canelo)...if GGG isn't shot I would like to see him go to 168 for Smith, but it seems he maybe would rather stay at 160
