Golovkin's body shape has changed a lot. He looks to have been doing heavy compound weight training to build strength which in turn builds endurance. People saying he fades a bit after 5 rounds, well that might cure that problem.

The extra musculature will also make him a bir slower and he was never the fastest puncher. But he won't have to be in this fight as Derev will be there in front of him much of the time. I think team GGG have decided that power is going to win them this fight.

Come from behind tko for Golovkin? not a confident prediction though as 37 yrs old for a boxer is just plain old old.

GGG looks drained af. The only thing I noticed was the Adam's apple. That's the only prominent thing in the pics. Completely drained.

I haven't seen GGG being so much shredded before. It's not Mr. Olympia sport, it's box but still...

golovkin didnt look good to me, and then comes the second day weigh-in :

By Barry Holbook: Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin needed two attempts to make the 170-pound limit for the IBF second day weigh-in this morning for his fight tonight on DAZN against Sergiy ‘The Technician’ Derevyanchenko. Golovkin (39-1-1, 35 KOs) weighed in at 170.2 lbs on his first weigh-in try, and he then stripped down and made the weight at 170 lbs. For his part, Derevyanchenko successfully made weight.
