Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: Usyk is Not a Threat To Me, He's Too Small!

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is not concerned with the heavyweight rise of Oleksandr Usyk. The Olympic gold medal winner dominated the entire cruiserweight division and unified all four of the major titles. He officially moves up to the heavyweight limit next weekend, when he faces unbeaten ****er Tyrone Spong.

Yeah he is correct, Usyk way too small...doubtful he does well at HW.

I'm looking forward to Dubois coming up also.

I don't think the issue is size. I just don't think Usyk is a big puncher and that'll create stylistic problems in keeping guys off of him. I do see Usyk beating everyone else in the division but I don't like the idea of him against Wilder. Definitely the worst fight for him.

I don't believe Usyk has ever fought an opponent bigger than him in the pros, he's had the size advantage in all his fights, big adjustment from cruiser.

He has plenty enough pop to keep his opponents honest but the issue will be taking a heavyweight punch like Wilder's when natural heavies can't.

Well then if Wilder says that then theres no point having the fight so just freeeeeeeeze him out. Another duck for the list.

He looked pretty good against Joyce. Granted that was a few years back but he definitely was giving up size in that tournament.
