    Is is it?

Is this what we have come to?

1 year ago people woulda said that 300k buys is a disaster and a flop, now its good numbers?

I don't care either way, but are 1mil PPVs a thing of the past?

That sounds about right, because the number don’t just come out the next day. It usually takes 6-8 days to get an idea of what the numbers would be like.

That's funny because Hearn can't keep the competition out of their mouth. Same with Arum. The only person you don't hear from is Haymon.

True but this is Spence second PPV, probably Porters first. Especially in this era of streams (Legal and illegal ones), I think this is a great number featuring two African Americans.

So yeah, looks like four DIFFERENT people are saying it nears 300k buys. But yet good ole Bob is saying it may do as less as 130k buys? L-O-L, the old man is VERY bitter right now.
I just fixed your lie that’s it. No one said Arum was right either. I still don’t get bragging about selling 275k ppv like that’s a great achievement. Dude just sold 20% less then his first ppv. How much farther will he drop in his next one?

YOU PREDICTED 200K BUYS! Spence at the very LEAST did over 150k buys than Crawford did vs Khan. I repeat, he at the very LEAST did over 150k buys than Crawford did vs Khan. He will have just done a live gate of over a million in Los Angeles against a non-name fighter in Porter. Let's not forget how pathetic Porter drew in LA the fight prior against Ugas.

Ward vs Kovalev I and II did what 160-170k buys?
Crawford vs Postol did 30-5k buys?
GGG vs Lemieux did 150k buys?
GGG vs Jacobs did 170k buys?
Crawford vs Khan did 125k buys

Spence vs Garcia did over 300k buys, and depending on who you trust, did at least 330k buys. Spence vs Porter did anywhere from 275-300k buys.

Are you in THAT much denial? You don't see a big difference from what Spence is doing opposed to the rest of the non-superstars? Only Wilder could compare. His fight vs Fury did about 325k buys and we will see what he does against Ortiz in November. There is no one else on the level of Spence aside from Wilder.

So yeah, you can try to sell the losing "20%" as a moral victory, when that is as flawed of a logic as it gets. No one was claiming this fight was bigger than the Garcia fight. What myth did get busted is that 65% of the crowd and buys came from Garcia. That was a hilarious baseless claim. How folks tried to make Garcia into Canelo was something else. There is NOTHING to suggest Garcia has ever been a bigger draw or name than Spence. They entered the fight as pretty much equal draws and then Spence still was able to produce against a non-name in Porter.

u are all over the place. A no name like porter. What kind of ratings did his fight vs Danny garcia and Keith’s Thurman do LMMMMAAAOOOOOO? I have me dying laughing. A no name.

Spence didn’t do at least 275k vs Porter the no name LMAO. You are creating that floor. 275k is what most people are saying.

Porter drew bigger ratings than Mikey so was more well known because of those 2 fights (not to mention Broner-Porter) and u try and lie and act like this 275k is a great number when the fact is Spence lost 20% of his buyers for this fight vs a more well known and deemed to be more competitive opponent. So what will Spence do vs Danny? 225k!?!? Big ppv Star lol.

We get it your on Spence’s nuts. You compare pathetic ppv numbers for wars Crawford ggg for fights that didn’t belong on ppv to pathetic but slightly higher numbers for Spence.

And the myth about Mikey got proven true. Without the Mexican opponent (even though he had one in the co-feature slot) he still lost almost
60k buyers when Spence should be more well know. And liked after that fight.

Compare apples to apples if crawford fights porter next on ppv will the numbers be that much different than Spence porter? U know they won’t.

Spence just isn’t a big draw ppv wise which is understandable. Outside of one fight after the Olympics he’s never drawn high ratings when he fought for free
