No one is confused. This isn’t a down year for showtime. It’s horrible. Especially considering pbc has zero to do with the ShoBox cards. Just stop and admit it
Now it's clear that you only watch the main event, lol; when you talked about pointing out a good show, it's my mistake to have assumed that you were talking about a night of fights.

ShoBox is definitely it's own thing, but you're dumb if you want to argue that Haymon-backed fighters don't get mixed in from time to time.

why do you waste your time with him? i saw him write that a real promoter is one who signs fighters. on a forum full of trolls, that may have been one of the most boxing illiterate comments i’ve ever seen.

As for porter not many picked Shawn but some did say he would Spence problems. No one said Mikey would Spence problems.

You still don’t seem to grasp how line movements work.
Ward vs Kovalev did within a 100k buys of Spence/Porter? No, that didn't happen.

You said not one expert boxer/trainer gave Mikey a chance which is flat out a BS lie. Plenty were picking Mikey or giving him a good shot. You are using hindsight now AFTER THE FACT. Spence vs Porter was not seen as any more competitive than Spence vs Garcia.

Conversely, long-time boxing trainer, analyst and newly-inducted Hall of Famer Teddy Atlas likes Garcia’s chances of pulling of the upset.

“I do [like his chances] as long as he feints before delivering his punches,” Atlas said. “Mikey is a terrific technical boxer. So, it is imperative that he doesn’t give up his defense for offense. Mikey has to get in and get out, put his punches together and not get too greedy. By getting off first, essentially Mikey is cutting the side of the beef off, by simply cutting the sides off and not the middle, Mikey can take small bites of the beef.”

“People think that the only way to win a fight is by a fighter exploiting the flaws in his opponent,” Atlas explained. “Forget about what [Spence] does bad. Mikey must prevent Spence from doing everything that he does well. Everyone is (saying) that Mikey is at a disadvantage because he is the smaller man. No, he’s not (at a disadvantage.) As a result of being the smaller man, Mikey is quicker, he’s more fleet-footed against the more cement-footed Spence.”

Just look at the Ring TV fight picks from boxers/writers/trainers/matchmakers:

        https://www.******.com/556661-fight-...-mikey-garcia/

        https://www.******.com/578092-fights...-shawn-porter/

And you yourself were saying that Spence vs Porter is a terrible PPV since it won't be competitive.

Anyways, this conversation could end here. Spence has had two PPVs that most will deem successful and he has out done the non-stars minus Wilder/Fury. No one will disagree with that....because you can't disagree with facts. That is just reality. FOX, unlike any other broadcaster promotes the crap out of PPVs and that gives it a big boost. SHO/HBO simply can't reach out to the same type of audience and ESPN can't give it the same type of promotion with all the different sports they show and having to also promote the UFC. You can't spend a month promoting a boxing PPV when a UFC PPV takes place around the same time. And UFC is ultimately going to get more attention, because well it does better numbers than boxing.

Somebody's gotta clean the fish tank of the filth.

Every time he has to defend what nonsense comes out of his mouth, with basically nothing on nearly all occasions, the passerby gets to see how full of **** he is, placing him accordingly.

Not everyone is going to agree on much, but there should be a standard way of doing things to work from.

Your dumb to think Haymon fighters are on shobox even 10% of the time. Even this Mayweather card coming up aren’t Mayweather fighters

The most important fight is the main event and wilder Breazle was dog sheet

youre right in that I didn’t think porter would be that competitive.

                  https://www.******.com/475181-ward-k...s-source-says/

Kovalev Ward over 160k buys. Spence Porter around 275k buys so yeah they are around 100k of each other lol. So stop the lies.

Considering the purses pos and PBC losing money how is it a success? Spence was guaranteed 9 mil Porter 5 and Dirrell and Benavidez 1 mil each

For the garcia fight it was 8 and 5 for the main event. So how’s that a success.

The schedule is there if you want to look. Assume it's a negligible number if you want.

Beyond that, fight fans tune in for the night of fights.

To hear you now argue that undercards don't matter says more about you than anything, lol.
