Lol good points. Don't forget that he fought unknown Willie Monroe Jr because he wanted to face a tricky southpaw, but turned down Lara who's headlined many fights, a ppv and who's last fight had over a million viewers.

I call BS. And, it's well documented that GGG tried to fight BJS and they rejected it. Lara? Pfff...he never said GGG's name and hasn't even fought at MW. Andrade only got a title after was well into his Canelo set of fights. Stop playing games, you know what's not why you're hating. Admit the truth
Chasing money is still chasing money, and once Golovkin got to the point where he was able to look at money, he fought bull**** fights and waited for some of that money to come to him.

There's no reason why, while waiting for a Cotto fight or a Canelo fight, Golovkin couldn't have fought Erislandy Lara or Demetrius Andrade, or fight Saunders in Kazakhstan, or take on Andre Ward in a legacy-confirming PPV fight.

If he was everything that he claimed to be, he would've shown it in those fights.

Instead, fans got to see Golovkin drag up Gabriel Rosado for his debut fight at 160lb, fight David Lemeiux after that farce, fight Dominic Wade (lol), and then drag Kell Brook all the way up to 160lbs from 147, lol.

Keep defending that **** if you want.

Why? I've been a GGG fan from day 1. Just because I don't go bananas over certain fighters doesn't mean I can't enjoy their fights.

I'm not a fanboy, I like watching certain fighters and when they retire I find new guys to enjoy for the next few years .

Tank, Wilder, GGG, Pac, Loma, Uysk, crawford, SPENCE, Inoue, Canelo, are all guys that I like to watch fight. Doesn't mean I wont give sh** to the fangirls here that hang from their ****s lol.

was bernard hopkins an ATG if he retired after his MW reign? I think not...in fact without a post MW career hopkins' career would be torn down and hed be deemed overrated....

lil g would never even attempt hopkins' post MW career.....hell never be an ATG

People hate fighters for the pettiest of reasons. First, it was Abel then Abel gets replaced and ggg betrayed Abel, then it’s because HBO hyped him, completely ignoring this guy is of Olympic pedigree but was stuck fighting in Europe because he wouldn’t and could possibly do well here. Then it’s because he won’t fight their boogeyman of the month. The. He fights whom they call the biggest name in boxing and doesn’t come off as hypejob but as an equal of whom they call elite and so that kills the hypejob talk so it’s back to regurgitating wards name.

The hilarity is we saw both mayweather and pacquiao go through the same, we saw Canelo go through the same and for the record there are some super Canelo groupies here who used to shhhh hard on him but now want to act like a name change made us forget that fact. I feel like this generation of fight fans lived the drama of five years of Floyd vs manny drama and can’t function without any drama today so it’s hate for no reason. When one guy retires suddenly he was great because the fighter they like beat him or lost to him.

I also have to laugh because as I am typing this out mentioning Because he didn’t fight the boogeyman of choice this month..here cake several hypocrites to prove my point. Who’s this months boogeyman of choice? Lol

You have to take into consideration for mandatory defenses based on fighter rankings. It's relevant whether you like it or not.

                      Yeah, that makes sense......

Take on tougher fights for the same money on short notice.....

You must be very wealthy in your life with that logic
