  • Comments Thread For: Jeff Horn Exercises Rematch Clause, Team Zerafa is Furious

Former WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn is looking for revenge. The Australian boxer says he is more motivated than ever to face his countryman, Michael Zerafa. Horn has exercised his immediate rematch clause, to face Zerafa for a second time - after suffering a shocking knockout loss in a middleweight clash which took place in Bendigo in August. The rematch will likely land on a date in December - with the 14th of that month being kicked around by some.

Right type of mindset that he needs to have.
Unfortunately if he stays with his same trainer it's going to be another beat down.

Was there some sort of sub-level regional belt on the line? Otherwise I'm confused as to why there was a rematch clause in the first place, Horn is certainly not a big enough draw to just generally have that in every fight contract.

Horny can not bully a bigger guy and a home town decision is not applicable. Should share his blessings to Zerafa by allowing him to fight Murata. They can try cooking another midget down under like Mikey Garcia.

                Well apparently he is.
Glenn Rushton is a good business man pity he's not as good a trainer.

Good on Horn for not giving up and for making it personal, should be a ripper fight.

But his coach is rubbish, there was a lot more to the Zerafa fight than fitness shortcuts, as usual Rushton has conned Horn into thinking that the loss was his fault, the same with the Crawford fight. So Zerafa to win again.
