5 Minutes ago Golovkin called out Canelo and Wilder, just in case you didn't know.

                  Wikipedia

                  Spence:
                  height: 178cm
                  reach: 183cm

                  GGG:
                  height: 179cm
                  reach: 178cm

Good question OP. I stopped making fun of GGG after I realised I was just a part of a club of people who selectively mock fighters that they don't like (for whatever reasons those may be). A lot of people who would mock GGG are the same ones who would proclaim Spence to be p4p since 2015/2016 despite never having fought in more than one division and without ever being the consensus number one in the only division he has fought in (plus having a close, split decision win recently....so much for being some uber dominant fighter).

The difference between Spence and Golovkin in terms of size is much lesser than that of Rigo/Loma, Mikey/Spence, Canelo/Kovalev etc. so I guess it's a very fair question. If you are going to apply 'American privilege' to Spence and say he is p4p before ever earning that prestige, then perhaps it is also fair to ask what more he can do to actually earn that praise?

Top p4p fighters like Crawford, Loma, Canelo have all moved up in weight, and Usyk (who is actually undisputed unified and lineal in his division unlike Spence) has also moved up (whether he has any success is TBD). 'American privilege' at its finest. I remember when some people had Spence, Thurman AND Porter all in p4p at the same time lol. How the FUCC can you have 3 guys in the top 10 p4p who are in the same division? It doesn't make sense - you wait for them to fight each other first then draw conclusions on who the real p4p is. You can't just pick a division that you like with fighters that you like and say that the top 3 guys in that division (who haven't fought each other) are all in the top 10 p4p, it's so r3tarded to anyone with more than a double digit IQ.

Spence can't be considered above or at anywhere near the same level as Craw, Loma or Canelo until he at least moves up to 154 - and that's at the very least. Then you can have guys like Mikey, Rigo, Chocolatito etc. above him too (who have all bitten off more than they can chew, but their accomplishments cannot be diminished because they moved up too many weight classes)
