    Monster Cardio?

Somebody else mentioned "monster cardio." Golovkin has always shown superb conditioning in his previous fights (especially the first bout with Alvarez). Even when a fight goes long, you never see him get gassed out, lay on the ropes and turtle up. It just never happens. I do not believe Derevyachenko will be able to out work him and wear him out. If he can, that would mean Golovkin has undergone an unfortunate step-change down in his capacity for sustained high output. Even though Derevyachenko is the younger man, I am still betting on Golovkin being able to wear him to exhaustion with high work rate, relentless pressure, and an accumulation of hard shots. Great competition, though.

Then he got hit with a few shots and said "f-ck this" and went back to Abel mode and got him outta there.

I think at this point in his career G needs to have that balance of Banks and Abel's styles in order to continue being successful. He can't just fight one way for a while 12 anymore.

I noticed with Banks, he's bouncing on his toes, throwing a better variety of punches at a slightly faster speed and moving his head a little. But he's not sitting down on his punches because his feet aren't set. With Abel he had no bounce at all, was flat footed but had good foot work and always had his feet planted to throw bombs. He's gotta fight that happy medium somewhere
I think he will get to that happy medium. After all we know he can punch with power when does sit down on his shots. He is just going to have to pick his spots when he reverts to power mode. I like what I saw in his latest pad work with Banks.. the bounce etc.

Last time Lou DiBella was promouting Derev like crazy (he needs to feed his family so he fights for champion belt), this time it's Rozier.
There got be something inside Derev that most fans don't see.

GGG wins this easily. If he has to he will just walk through Derevyanchenko and KO him.

Lou Whorebella was promoting steve rolls as "among the best who everyones ducking" last time too. He then bribed ibf to keep giving deryev title shots for vacant belts. The fact Dibella tried to sell Rolls as a non amateur bum says everything about why Deryev is getting wrecked,Dibellas schtick is supplying bloodbag meatpops to vampire borat

Golovkin took a bit of punishment in his last 2 fights with Saul Alvarez. Derevyanchenko has a decent chin and power (went the distance with Jacobs), so he might want to take the fight to the old man. Golovkin is still superb, but he's clearly declined, so Derevyanchenko might want to test how much instead of respecting him.

you beat GGG by walking him down. GGG cannot fight going backwards. If Derev treats it like his one last chance and comes out fast, he could KO GGG. Yes, GGG is that faded. If he comes out slow, a UD for GGG.

                  Derevyanchenko is not all that

Previously I thought Derev can give GGG a fight.

But I watched Derev against Culcay full fight fight, and I think he's suspect against even fading GGG.

Derev has about 400 amateur fights, so he can box pretty well, and can be evasive. But his power is underwhelming and he got buzzed on more than one occasion by Culcay.

Derev was getting his head snapped back by Culcay jabs, and Culcay didn't look like he had any plan in that fight.

If Derev can't deal with GGG jab (which is very good), he is in a lot of trouble.

                    Not going to happen.
Derev boxes, and doesn't have the power to walk GGG down.
He will move. More than Canelo moved in 1st fight.

I don't know. I saw Derev got chin-checked by Culcay a couple of times.
Maybe Culcay is underrated, but I can't see Derev's chin holding up against GGG.
Derev will likely move a lot, but he can't move like that for 12 rounds.
