Maybe once upon a time , not so much at the moment

I hear ya...yeah great test matchup for DJ at 168...couldn't think of a better opponent and feel like he lucked out a bit...I guess Chavez feels he is a good opponent since he fought Nelo, and GGG too I guess

Chavez is trying to make a comeback after wasting away a probably great career
The partying and the minimal training has caught up with him
Nobody believes chit he says unless he can prove it in the ring

Yeah I've never been high on him...he has that good win against Andy Lee and everything he has done has been unimpressive imo

Edit - I guess Rubio was a solid win too...but knowing nothing about that fight other than that it went 12 rounds, I assume Rubio won and JR got the decision

Rubio was already shopworn at that point
He got lucky when he beat Lemieux and that revamped his career
          Anyway fugh JCC
No interest to see that fight with Jacobs but unfortunately I’ll be watching

Seems like Hearn doesn’t know what to do with Jacobs
No. I completely agree with you and was very disappointed in Jacobs for taking this fight. Jacobs might be the third best middleweight in the world or a very good 168 pounder if he can;t make 160. Lots of potential good fights for him at DAZN and Chavez is the best opponent they can get for him???? Chavez is washed up and Jacobs will beat the hell out of him and prove nothing.

              Yup
It’s really mind blowing how they got no one else to feed Jacobs
Damned if he wins , damned if he loses
Just thought he would be fighting bigger names to get back foot n top of the pecking order
