I don't understand how anyone who saw the two fights could logically say the Wilder/Ortiz fight should have been stopped and then defend the referees actions in not stopping the Wilder/Fury fight. Hopefully the rematches in both instances will set matters straight.
Taking consecutives shots to the face which can result in TKO or RTD and warranting doctors check ups is not the same as winning every round in the fight like Fury was if anything taking less shots and then winning the fight after a knockdown which FURY did compared to Wilder was saved by the bell and receiving multiple ones (10/15) is not the same circumstance ,you reject of an imbecile,

Ortiz and AJ both went down, giving the ref a chance to check them. Wilder didn't go down, resulting in a longer barrage, as well as no chance to see how he was holding up. You UK losers still harping on this are so ******. There was an "after the minute" check on the PBC PPV in California just this weekend on one of the B-side fighters. NY isn't the only state that does this. The check is after the rest period, not during.

        Ortiz wins!
I think Haymon owed King Kong for not taking the AJ fight when he had the chance so now this is his way of repaying that debt.
Unless peds were involved I think Ortiz was screwed over by not getting the AJ fight but who knows how that would have turned out.

Wilder had a 1 minute break in between rounds to recover and comes out and the ref and dr give another 21 seconds to check him when they could have done that real quick in between the round.

They stalled for him , The promotion bailed him out .

Call it like it really is

He made this declaration after fury refused the immediate rematch. As far as the rematch goes I think wilder wins faster this time. In the first wilder had the flu so he should be sharper this time around .
I agree it's sensible to think Wilder will win but there is nothing for Wilder in this fight. If he wins - then he beat a 40 year old opponent he already beat and if he loses - then he got exposed by a 40 year old past his best.

Wilder could have fought anyone in the top 10 but he picks someone he already beat. Boxers often pay for making safe choices like that. AJ Vs Ruiz. Fury Vs Wallin... In his mind Wilder has already won. Just like Fury and AJ thought.

As for the AJ business - he could have fought AJ there and then and unified the division! AJ was chasing him. Wilder was like "Be patient I'll fight him in 2020"

Who is complaining about the fight not being stopped? They're saying he was gifted time after the minute in the corner so he could recover. No one is arguing he should have been stopped.

Fury wasn't KO'd though was he if he made the 10 count?

Jeez, man. Same old, same old.
Wilder has faults - there, I said it so don't try and put words into my mouth. My comment wasn't about Wilder's faults it was more about people who like to not give credit where credit is due and are not open to reason. In other words, people like you. Fury made the "long" ten count but for part of that count he was absolutely senseless. Give him credit though he did regain full consciousness quickly. He won't get up so quickly in the rematch though. In order to win Fury must overcomes his terror of fighting Wilder again.

What I learned from your reply is you don't have the ability to compose a coherent thought. Also you stoop quickly to name calling, probably out of frustration in not being able to express yourself in an intellectual way. You'll improve if you work on it. have a wonderful day.
