This is one area where Sulaiman actually makes sense, I just can't agree with pro's being in the Olympics. At least not seasoned, experienced pro's anyway and anyone who's ever won a pro world title should not even be considering the Olympics.
Maybe they can find a middle ground where anyone with no more than for example, 10 pro fights can compete in the amateur code as a one-off?

Sulaiman doesn't care about the boxers, only about his business. He doesn't care that 14-15 year old kids in Mexico fight as professionals or about other horrendous mismatches in pros.

Now he is concerned about top amateurs fighting pros but as we have seen with former pro world champions like Jonathan Romero, Hassan Ndam Njikam and some Chinese which name I don't recall, they all lost to top amateurs.

Of Lionel Messi, Rafael Nadal, Michael Jordan, etc can play in the Olympics why not the world's best boxers?

For once Suliman is right. The Olympics seems to have lost the plot. I've even heard that Squash is being replace by Break Dancing. What next Gold, Silver & Bronze for Singers?!!.....

Ridiculous that a guy like Sulaiman who kills the sport with Franchise, Mayo and other fantasy belts wants to advise other organizations.

What is ridiculous is you'd relate pro-ams mixing to ****in' unterbelts.

The thing is many countries have amateur stars with far more experience than many pros. I don't have a problem with any pros in any sport participating in the Olympics. I do feel they run a big risk in ruining their reputations if they lose, but that's their risk.

Professional boxing and to amateur boxing are different enough that professionals don't necessarily have the edge. Amateurs train to fight three fast round and professionals might look at the fight as more of a war of attrition. In an amateur fight the amateur has the edge in this aspect. Many of the roughhouse tactics pros use wouldn't be allowed in the amateurs so the pro would not have an advantage in this area. Since many of the top pro boxers were also amateur champions the matchups between them and amateurs according to amateur rules would be interesting.

If he could collect sanctioning fees Sulaiman would be pooping out rainbow belts.
