i don't know if this is true and it actually did 62k buys, but I think the 300k is a lie. I just can't see that

The fight probably did #s similar to Kov vs Ward. Spence is not well known at all. Plus his personality is off-putting and he has zero charisma which is needed to sell fights. He seems to think being a favorite of the Cowboys is enough to sell fights which is naive and wrong. He needs to do much more publicity. Porter on the other hand has had more exposure due to being on network tv several times, but his style is not the kind of style a lot of people would pay $80 to see. On top of that PBC is god awful at marketing fighters and advertising fights. There approach of selling fights to fans and casuals is non-existent.Last edited by jdp28tx; 10-01-2019, 07:04 AM.Comment

Errol's name has been getting out there more & more & hes seemingly among the most hyped guys by hardcores.
And 300k isnt hitting THAT many casuals so of course you arent noticing much there. Casuals arent getting into you til you are getting 500k. 1M buys means you are known by a good % of casual fans usually. 1.5M+ is casual star territory with guys like Floyd & Manny.Comment

Jubei is a GGG fan still upset that he gets made fun of for selling 97k PPV's with Lemuiex. He is venting that anger by posting fake tweets about the sales of Spence/Porter.
What a repugnant loser Jubei is.Comment

I don’t know about 62K but no way this fight did 300K.
Zero mainstream buzz before or after the fight.
I couldn’t watch live because I was at a wedding but no one knew about the fight there. I’ll say just over 100K.Comment
