    Spence-Porter was a CLASSIC!!!

This ww divisions may seem to not be as talented as the greater ones but that also leads to more CLASSIC fights AT THE TOP LEVEL...WHY??? Because the fighters are more evenly talented and the gap is closer...So you will always get damn good fights at this top level as none of them are really hard to hit and tend to be more offensively minded

Spence is not evenly talented with any WW not named Crawford. Him & Crawford are clearly 1 & 2, however you see it & are clearly better fighters than the rest.

I personally liked the fight. It was highly competitive. Spence showed he didnt like pressure. Porter showed hes still susceptible to not paying attention to where his own opening are. But I can definitely see how a judge would give the fight to Porter. No it was not a razor thin decision as the Canelo vs GGG fights, but I can see where Porters aggressiveness could sway a judge. They should do it again eventually.

That was a fantastic fight, ebb and flow, action packed. Don't know why so many here are just nitpicking it.

Was a very good fight, not a classic.. Barrera vs morales, Castillo vs corrales , ward vs gatti, those are classics... this was a notch below those but still very good

it was missing the back and forth that a classic has, was just a solid fight imo

All these guys are around the same top level with Spence and Crawford a slight notch above. The gap isn't so wide though so it means all these bouts are closely contested.

Ummm.. I watched the whole thing on replay, and it was good, but not a classic. Not enough drama for a dogfight (Salido style) and not enough skill for a masterpiece.

Yep there is no young Floyd or Manny on the horizon but there is a bunch of very competitive matches between all the top guys , we just dont have that special X factor fighter to transcend the sport like the last gen ATGs, the knew kids on the block are still working it out.

That fight was definitely not a classic. It was nice to see a “Mexican style” fight but other than the knockdown it didn’t have much suspense or thrill.
