Crawford basically brings nothing to the promotion...the guy is a bore.
Arum admits he lost a ton of money on Crawford-Khan so he's desperate for Spence-Bud

Arum knows he's ****ed here, so he and ESPN are hiding the ball for as long as they canComment

I agree with those who say Crawford is a bore. I’m a big fan of his but all the draws in boxing promote themselves well to a certain extent.
Even Lomo and Triple G who speak broken English have more charisma than Crawford.
He needs to shake things up. Maybe start talking some serious ****, either directly to Spence or to any takers. He actually has accolades he can lean on but he just chooses to seemingly not worry about it.Comment

I watch a lot of football; college and the NFL. This past Saturday was Ohio State vs Nebraska, in Nebraska. And the game was featured on ESPN College Gameday.
ESPN had Gabrielle Union on (with Wade) to talk with the crew; born in Omaha, lifelong fan, but did leave Nebraska for California before she was 10.
Terence Crawford could've been in that same spot, talked up his support for Nebraska football, ESPN could cross-leverage their assets, and you'd still have Corso and Herbstreit to deliver the exciting stuff like usual.
Expose and push the talent, maybe the money doesn't come back quickly, but if the talent is what you think it is, the money will come back and then some.
Errol Spence Jr isn't the biggest personality, but Haymon got with him after the Olympics, pushed him hard, put the money and opportunities behind him, and after 5 years of work, took the big shot against Kell Brook, before starting this star phase of the push, and the money's starting to really come back now.Comment

His personality is fine; you simply work with what he's got.

Nice try though. I watched the stream and Teofimo or Commey weren’t there.Comment

Arum don't even want to pay Crawford for his next fight against Mean Machine. He should send Crawford over to FOX and let them foot the bill like he did for Ramirez at DAZN & Lomachenko with Matchroom against Campbell.
Bob Arum appeals to Al Haymon for Spence-Crawford ASAP @woodsy1069 @trboxing @errolspenceJr @terencecrawford @premierboxing https://t.co/3SBwlZ2tLr

"If Spence and Crawford fight the press conference would be great, we could watch each fighter get sleepier and sleepier until one of them falls asleep. Good thing they don't fight the way they talk.

Of course they did. They paid $10.5M in purses to Crawford and Khan alone. The most generous projection I've seen is 175K which would give them about $13M in PPV revenue before the cable and satellite industry takes half.
The better question is how much are they losing on this Fury deal. Unless ESPN is footing the bill for Fury while Crawford-Khan came out of Top Rank's pockets.Comment
