I'd imagine the buildup would set a new record.

I like MMA but I love boxing. This a boxing board for people to talk boxing. I don't give a *** how much money a rematch between two MMA fighters would make. They have MMA boards where they talk about MMA so you should take this to an MMA forum and stick to boxing on here.

        hell no

Floyd and manny's each had a CONSISTENT personal brand

        Both were household names.

manny's goofy behavior is more endearing to Americans than being Slavic Ice

Stop the nonsense. Their biggest star came to boxing for a reason. No big MMA fight can rival any big boxing fight, which May/Pac is, in terms of economics. Besides Dana White keeps all of the money which is why Mcgregor isn't fighting

            NO.
1.You won't have all boxing fans and all MMA fans just MMA fans

2 Mcgregor was at his peak of poplularity and was the Man of all combat sports. That was 3 years ago. It's over now.

3 Khabib is a star but not as huge as Mayweather was

            1.5 million at best

Can't belive no one has pointed this out but the first was one sided, no way second somehow sells more. Incredible that you don't understand that.

Silly boy, AJ vs Ruiz 2 will sell more, it's not about the first one being competetive they are many more variables involved as to what makes a rematch garner hype.

You clearly didn't see the first Khabib fight if you're making a bad comparison like that. Ruiz was a huge underdog. Questions were raised. That's what makes a rematch. The mma fight answered all questions about those two. It's foolish to think a rematch sells anywhere close as much in that case.
