Comments Thread For: Golovkin: All Of My Fights Are the Same Level

Gennadiy Golovkin is anticipating a better version of Sergiy Derevyanchenko than the one who showed up for his first title fight last year. The fact that a middleweight title is at stake doesn't at all change that perception, nor the fight night approach taken by the former unified titlist.

This must be a language barrier thing! He might prepare the same for every fight, but Vanes and Rolls are not the same level as Canelo and Dervy!

Well not all, some were B level fighters such as Jacobs..most of them were C tho...geale,wade,monroe jr etc..then you faced a B+ level fighter like Canelo and you lost...funny how no "drama show" against Canelo

Exactly. I suppose he means exactly that - he prepares for every fight exactly the same regardless of his opponent.

Every fighter says the same thing.
No fighter will ever admit taking his opponent lightly.
                    Nothing new here.
