He's still holding on to that for some reason...
But the reality is that he lost the rest of the round. He had something like well over a minute to put him away and he couldn't do it.
That round, in particular, was one where Wilder's limitations were really amplified.Comment

No and neither were you. I read the interviews where he says he watched the rumble in the jungle live with his father, he has said this in a number of interviews. To be able to of watched that fight live he has to be late 40, s early 50,s atleast.
If you claim to be 40 then your too young to of watched that fight live. I didn't make that up, he said it not me.Comment

If Fury was 'blessed' by the referee, then Wilder was certainly 'blessed' by at least one judge.Comment

Whatever happened in the first fight - only one person got destroyed mentally and that was Fury. All he has been doing since is running from Wilder and fighting nobodies.
As Fury said before the Wilder fight "If Wilder can hit me and knock me down I'm not the fighter I thought I was"
Well Wilder knocked him down twice. Guess he found out who he was... and just decided to make money from fighting bums.Comment

A veteran, elite-level fighter gets knocked down in the 12th round of a championship fight. He beats the count and is up and ready to fight. Why is it favouritism for the ref to let the fight continue?
And if the ref screwed it up and Fury was actually not in a fit state to continue, Wilder would have finished him off after that, wouldn't he?
It boils down to: he beat the count and he was clearly fine to continue. What else is there to discuss?Comment

There are many blessings in boxing. The start of the 8th round in his first Ortiz fight might be a blessing too. Funny how a earlier comment mentioned one of the judges to have blessed him after the fury fight. I liked that comment. It's all good maybe it's carma who knows?Comment

Wilder has been "blessed" by Al Hamon, to fight 40 bums and 2 decent opponents in his entire career. And now, instead of fighting anyone else in the top 20, he wants to refight the two guys he already beat. Not Whyte. Not Parker. Not Kownacki. Not AJ. Just a 50 year old Ortiz and a bum beating Fury. And he's going to put this crap show on PPV no less?!?? Hahahaha. Wilder and his groupie fans should both be ashamed. But they won't be. They will spin it this like it's an exciting match up, which it isn't. They will make Ortiz seem like the boogeyman, which he isn't. And they will still talk about the fake 50 million dollar email while somehow tearing the 120 legitimate offer down hahahaha. Wilder and Canelo fans are like Trump fans, there's no arguing with them. They are in a cult.Comment

Fury was up before the refs 10 count. Thats all that matters. Wilder and his fans are still butthurt.Comment
