BS article. Anyone with eyes saw Porter win with effective aggression, higher workrate, ring generalship, and more punches landed. Porter was hurling haymakers at Spence all night, yet, Compubox would have you believe that Spence threw more and outlanded him. It was nowhere near close enough to let one knockdown grant Spence the decision as the writer, in the headline story on a website owned by CBS, would try so deliberately to ram into our heads. And what's with all the low blows from Spence not being called by Jack Reiss, "the most respected referee in boxing." No point deductions after several warnings? This favoritism for the A-side is out of control. Boxing isn't a sport, it's a business.

I like Spence. I wanted him to win, but Porter got robbed of another career defining victory as he did with Thurman. Porter so nice a dude he ain't complain about none of this bs. Much respect to the real winner. One day, in a high stakes fight, I'd like to see the winner actually win.

I'll give you punches thrown but everything else was Spence. Punches landed, aggression hard shots were from Spence. Porter smothered him and threw shots like he was supposed to but wasnt connecting with more than 1 or 2 at a time. Spence dug to the body throughout. Robbery??????? You're exaggerating. I had 115-112 and the correct person won hands down

Those two wide points judges just need to go away. We need MUCH better judges in fights. I watched this one close, and while many fawn over Spence as some boxing genius, he did more flashy points-grabbing stuff in there than his usual fare... because he knew Porter would easily be his toughest fight. This was either a draw or a 1 point SD win for Spence. That's an accurate call... not the wide points biz we saw. I'm actually way more impressed with the performance from Porter than Spence. Yes, typical smothering his own punches sometimes... but Porter showed a lot more force and heart than in any of his other fights. A rematch is called for, even if Spence fans will scoff and call me names. Sorry, just my 37 cents worth. I stand by my analysis.

Also for those thinking that Spence was lucky with the late KD. Broner's KD of Porter came in the 12th round. Ugas' also got him in the 12th. The ref for some reason called it a slip but it wasn't. Ugas would have won that fight if he'd gotten credit for it. These are not lucky shots. There's a pattern. But give Porter a lot of credit for being able to get off the canvas and fight.

Amazing fight, and eventually I do want to see a rematch. Just don’t want to see it RIGHT now.

Would rather see Spence vs Pacquiao, Thurman, D Garcia or Crawford. Ideally Shawn could fight Crawford.

That would be perfect for building up a superfight. The Porters said they want that smoke!!

Let’s see it!!! The Welter weight picture is starting to clear up. And if we move quickly and diligently their are great matches for years to come.

Crazy how fans claim Haymon protects his fighters while the best of PBC are fighting one another! Yeah they may be in house fights but they are the best fights in the house to be made! I love TC but he should be with PBC!

I think this is a case of Porter is a lot better than what we all expected including Spence. Versus, is Spence really that badd.
Spence got ahead of himself, reassuring a knockout. I think when you fight the champ, it has to be done convincingly (see Ruiz vs Joshua). You cannot leave a decision of this caliber to the judges.
Porter would have had to do way more to take Spencer's belt.
I take my hat off to Porter for stepping up and taking on Spencer.
Now the fans deserve to see Spence do the same. So stop acting like you Mayweather and fight Bud, you scrub.

Good scrap. Spence 7-4-1+ KD was my score. Porter fought a great fight, and I think showed CLEARLY that he is not just a pressure fighter with a ugly style. It may be a bit ugly, but his footwork on inside was VERY good. He also had a great game plan staying outside of Spence's range until he was ready to work with little kamikaze attacks. Also showed great recuperative powers. He was REALLY hurt for a sec after shot in 11th, but before ref finished mandatory 8 count he was clear as he ll.

We will NEVER see Pac vs Spence and you cant really blame Manny for that. I do hope he retires though if he is not gonna fight the top guys at 47 or at least like you said give up title.
