Haymon and Ortiz promoters f... Ortiz over that's why Ortiz was pissed when found out they turned down the offer without notifying Ortiz.

I don’t feel sorry for him. He knew what happened and he stayed silent. He was very vocal previously about that fight.


And I was one of his biggest supporters in regards to him getting that fight for his daughter who needs sustained medical care.

They messed up his reputation amongst the fans of the sport. For what? Less pay against Wilder? I mean as a southpaw if he had fought the same AJ that Ruiz fought that night then he would have three belts against his name and another lucrative purse for the rematch, win the rematch and he can fight Wilder in the rematch for the undisputed.

So they did him dirty? Absolutely but I don’t feel sorry for him.

That selling point went out of the window when he was offered 7ms a month after claiming he would step in if Miller messed up. Even the LDBC doesn’t use that selling point anymore about Ortiz. Am pretty sure he wouldn’t even make half of that guaranteed money against Wilder. That of the plain duck in boxing history.

It don't make sense. Haymon promised ortiz a Wilder rematch but what has that got to do with Ortiz fightng Joshua in June? He could of been fighting wilder for undisputed and a fair bit richer. Time wise those fights dont clash at all, if anything the timing is near perfect.
