I think his point isn’t the direction, but more so that a weight drained Canelo shouldn’t really be a point for comparison.

I think he would be BETTER at his correct weight compared to sucking himself down to have a size advantage which seems to be a Texas Thing (Spence Jr, Jermall Charlo, Omar Figueroa, Mario Barrios...)

That being said...always said he should work his way up to Canelo Properly and not do the jump that Mikey did to fight him. A lot of the Canelo call outs is to draw attention to themselves because he is the $$$ same with the young guys at 135 calling out Loma (Lopez and Haney)
