If Porter is willing to let his father treat him like a little kid that is his problem. He needs to man up and stand up to his father and not take that abuse and just fire his dad if his dad doesn't knock it off. As long as he is ok with being treated that way there is nothing anyone else can do.

The first awful advice he gave was "take shots to the body and forget about his body" I cringe at that.
If I would have been in Porter's corner I would have advice to go to the body the first rounds, then shoot for the head.

Father son dynamics are very complicated. You don’t mention all the other times we’ve seen Kenny heap praise on his son. Some people need specific types of motivations to achieve things. Look at Bradley and his pops..ironically Bradley was a way better fighter under his pops than without him. Then look at Danny Garcia whose pops has cost and limited his career prospects outside of boxing with his behavior and comments.
