During the telecast I heard Goosen say that it was a sellout with 20k in attendance. That can’t be. Right? Thanks

The last time there was about 20k for a boxing match at Staples was Margarito Mosley right? and that was at full occupancy. To me it looked like the top areas were tarped off.

Did anyone attend the fight who can speak on the occupancy? I’m really just curious. I know ppv and attendance numbers can be embellished in this sport but I felt like the 20k claim was a bit over the top.

It was not sold out not at all but the promoters always try and make it seems like it is.

For sure. I’ve seen multiple fights at Staples and I paid to watch this great match up last night. I’m just curious about the actual numbers.

They marked the price down on a lot of there seats on the day of the fight... I got lower level seats out the window in section 113 row 16 for $77.50/each.
