Danny Garcia is a top rated WW. He is rated #6 or 7 at the weight by The Ring, TBRB, and ESPN. He himself had a close fight with Shawn Porter about a year ago. There's nothing wrong with this fight. In fact it's a good fight. Plus it will continue to build Spence into a PPV attraction which seems to be a big deal for PBC as the upcoming Wilder-Ortiz rematch will be their sixth PPV fight since Dec. 2018.

One more thing between a fight with Crawford and spencer is what the logic is. The sharks smell blood in the water and his handlers are in damage control mode right now.

Especially if it’s done on the east coast
Garcia is better known than Porter and considerably much more firing power
Hopefully Danny will let go of his hands and make this a dogfight
We can actually get a check on Spence’s chin cause unfortunately that’s the only thing missing from the Porter fight

That's another great 50-50/55-45 fight, anything can happen. Danny is a real puncher, his output is a problem but Spence better not trade with him...

i actually like danny garcia, i just think they (pbc,al,) are KILLING spences momentum into superstardom by having him fight danny rt now... the fight to be made is spence pac and that would propel spence into a huge ppv superstar.

i have no idea what the ppv numbers will be for spence porter, but i can guarantee you all that spence pac would do huge ppv numbers RIGHT NOW! porter had a belt to offer spence, whats danny got?

Danny Garcia is a tough opponent for any Welter. He’s also one of the most heavy handed of the Welters and overall has a really good Ring IQ.

It’s possible that PAC isn’t interested in Spence. Who else is there?
