Pretty good fight. That cut really swung the fight in benavidez favor. Dirrel was boxing pretty well up until that point. Dirrel was more competitive than a lot of people were saying he would be.

Plant is not beating Benavidez lol. I think his fight against Uzcategui gets a bit overrated. Uzcategui stood in front of him and almost refused to jab. And when he had him hurt later in the fight and Plant was clearly fatigued he still didn't do enough. Benavidez is much more skilled than Uzcategui, faster, more consistent, stronger puncher.

I think at this point I favor Plant to beat him. He looked sloppy against a fighter who was on the decline.

Plant out-boxes him early but Benavidez will break him down and stop him late IMO I really like both fighters though
