Since, you know you’re so versed in boxing history and all as is evident.

C level Porter as you call him is 1) in his prime
    2) two time champion of the WW division
    3) beat Berto (Crawford best win)
Beat Danny, beat Ugas, went the distance with both Thurman and Brook. In your view that must make each of these fighters D level

You’re obviously a fan girl casual
You sound like a PBC WW Ambassador living with them in their shelter. T Crawford would clean out that stable, completely by 2022...if given the opportunity!

Just seen the fight, a solid contender for Fight of the Year so far. I thought that the two judges who scored 116-111 for Spence had it more or less right (I scored it 115-112) and that one 115-112 card for Porter was kind of wack, I don't know how he managed to get that score. A lot of the rounds weren't easy to score but I don't think the result should be too controversial.

With that said, I thought Porter proved a lot of doubters wrong, he gave Spence a hell of a hard time and was in the fight the whole way through, in fact for most of the fight I thought he was ahead and Spence only overtook him and pulled away right at the end with that KD in round 11. I think Porter will probably come away from this with lots of credit even in defeat and Spence's reputation as the most feared man at WW is likely a little weaker than it was, I thought he failed to stamp his authority on the fight and looked really uncomfortable with the heat Porter was bringing for many of the rounds. I hope Fitzsimmons writes something to apologise for calling Porter a "brand name jobber" in that troll piece he published earlier in the week. Also, while the fight I most want to see is still Spence v Crawford next, if that can't happen for whatever reason I'd love to see a rematch of this.

I used to favor Spence over Bud but not so much anymore. I think Bud's footwork and hand speed may be all the difference if/when they eventually meet in the ring. I don't know if Bud would make Spence look silly; however, I believe he would win if he stays smart. Staying smart would be key because if Gamboa rocked Crawford, Spence could put him to sleep. Good post.
This is the fair and obvious question in response to what I suggested. In my excitement (and strong buzz) I definitely was guilty of hyperbole and should have kept it at "Bud gets the better of Spence" rather than "makes him look silly". That is obviously a great, competitive fight with potential to be even more exciting than this modern classic. On Crawford - Porter, I think Bud's slipperiness and switch hitting propensity coupled with his edge in speed would make a tremendous difference and mitigate much of Porter's attempts to charge in, with Spence being a comparably more static target. And though many, self included would probably give Spence the power nod over Bud, I don't think the disparity there is large at all--if anything I've been guilty of underrating Bud in that dept in the past--and I do think Bud has more of a mean streak that would make him even less relenting in the punishment he doles out in counters and in the frequent moments where Porter is defensively compromised. I'd love to see it!

Yes it does. There’s a full house in emotional soy boys on today. Almost every boxing site I’ve seen had their site’s boxing expert with a Spence win. Fan girls see it through rose colored emotional hero worship goggles

Why shouldn't they? Crawford resigned with Top Rank knowing every other relevant welter was with PBC.

That doesn't make any sense. Skills and stamina are going to Trump strength more times than not. Forget Mayweather, there are plenty of examples on YT of slender guys KO'ing muscle bound gym **** that are clearly way stronger.

Spence is stronger than Crawford but If they fought my money would be on TC.
