Comments Thread For: Ken Porter: Spence Hasn't Been In Dogfight, Had Adversity

LOS ANGELES Ken Porter appreciates Errol Spence Jr.'s greatness. He has respected Spence since he worked with the powerful southpaw when Spence was an aspiring Olympian, a dream Spence realized in 2012. Porter fully understands, too, that his son, Shawn, has signed up for what likely will emerge as his most difficult fight as a pro.

I do think this will end by a stoppage, the reason Spence in my opinion didn't stop Mikey is because Mikey fought to survive. Porter doesn't tend to do that and I believe something big will land on him and put him out.

To be fair, Errol Spence jr. did struggle with a one eye hype-job.

The one-eyed hype job if you are speaking of Brook came over here and took the belt from Porter.

Spence went across the pond and broke the will of Kell Brook as well as his eye socket. It was competitive early but no where did Spence struggle.

        Stop spreading FAKE NEWS Lmao

Spence was in a tough back and forth fight with Brook across the pond and came through. But I mean Porter putting Spence in a dog fight is one of the intriguing things about this fight. Let's see how Spence reacts if Porter is able to push him back some and get dirty on the inside. I think one of Porter's downfalls in this fight is going to be when he tries to get on the inside and gets a bit wild that Spence will be connecting with some vicious body shots that will end up taking a toll on him and then potentially contributing to him getting stopped late in the fight.

Carson Jones whooped Kell Brook in the UK way before Errol Spence jr., BIG DEAL.

Kell Brook was the underdog in his home-country after jumping to middleweight and dropping back down permanently injured. Errol Spence was the clear favorite going into the Brits backyard according to the Moneyline.

I mean, when your biggest win is Shawn Porter whats that say about you?

As some have said, Spence had a tough enough fight vs Brook...if Spence is what I think he is, this will be a late stoppage, and fairly dominant performance from him...if Porter goes 12 in a 8-4 type fight for Spence, I think I would go from favoring Spence vs TC, to favoring TC vs Spence.

He was a champion though Lmao that came across the pond and took the belt. So Spence had to go over and make him quit.

Now Spence would beat the sh...t out of your favorite fighter Lmao

In other words. Look out for seriously intended headbutts by Porter in order to survive.

Porter not considered a big puncher although the biggest puncher Spence has faced....look for Porter to back up Spence by round 3, potentially TKO win for Porter, late rounds...
