Edgar Berlenga is looking to build on his explosive start to life in the paid ranks and he sets his sights on fight dates in Florida and New York before 2019 is concluded. Berlenga, who hails from New York, however, stays close to his Puerto Rican roots recently announced that he had linked up famed trainer Andre Rozier which has led Berlenga to Northern California in the camp of world title challenger Sergiy Derevyanchenko. Dereyvyanchenko has held camp between the state of the art SNAC facility in the Bay Area and the Aloha Boxing Club with Berlenga being an integral part of the camp, acting as a sparring partner for the Ukrainian who squares off against Gennady Golovkin on October 5.
