Gamboa is a good fight but I prefer Fortuna. Campbell or Commey would be a static can for Davis.

I think thats a lil extreme. I definitely think Tank should be fighting better guys...but go look at Tanks resume. Luke & Commey both have solid arguments to be Tanks maybe best or for sure 2nd best opponent if you wanted to make them.

Tank has actually been promoted pretty well imo. He just needs to be more active, which is partially his fault for why he's not with his weight fluctuations and arrest warrants.

lol Tank is one of the sports biggest stars. All roads for 135 lead thru him.

I understand you want to see him against better competition but that competition also wants to be paid well. You had a guy turn down $2 mil for a unification against one of the biggest stars in the sport. So Tank will move on. Sell out another venue against Gamboa. While other fighters are sidelined until April because their promoter can't afford to pay them and the competition.

I totally agree with you, he should be a bigger PPV star NOW, not in 2 years, not in 4 years etc. Tank isn't someone that needs building, maybe he doesn't know how to speak in terms of being interviewed but all of that can/could be polished by his team.

He has baltimore behind him too, all of these things along with his skills, talent is not been guided in the right direction. Since he beat Predraza i thought they made him go backwards.

But i wouldn't say leave TMT, i would say they need to step up, wasn't it 50 cent that said Mayweather promotions is just a name nothing attached to it (Call Al for anything).

The saddest bit is the "Tank is the biggest star in the sport" thing that all of them at TMT sings about, well only dumb fans actually run with that shit.

Floyd's the worst promoter and a ****** fool. I really regret wasting time on Floyd's career. I was one of his biggest fans, not to the extent of Larryx (or whatever his name now) and The Big Dunn, though, but I was up there.

You have every right to be frustrated but maybe Haymon knows what he is doing. Becoming a star is different for different fighters. If you look at the last 4 cash cows- SRL and ODH were stars from fight 1 while Tyson took off after his 7th or 8th fight and Floyd wasn't a star until the 24/7 for the ODH fight.

That said he definitely should've fought better comp at 130.
