Comments Thread For: Team Spence: Crawford Is Number Four On ESPN Depth Chart!

Apparently, Errol Spence Jr. and his team never received the press release announcing Terence Crawford as the newest boxer under the Man Down Promotions banner. The pair of unbeaten welterweight titlists can't seem to escape an interview without being asked about the other, a situation that won't die down until they finally meet in the ring. Crawford (35-0, 26KOs) and his handlers have continued to call out Texas' Spence (25-0, 21KOs), who has other business at hand as he heads into this weekend's unification clash Shawn Porter (30-2-1, 17KOs), live on Fox Sports Pay-Per-View from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif.

So Loma, Ramirez, and Tyson Fury are all making more money than Crawford. All this time I've been calling Crawford the second son when he's the unwanted orphan

I heard the #1. P4P Terence Crawford was at UFC, you know the MMA promotion that makes the best fight the best?

Crawford is getting treated just fine on ESPN. Dude will be making 4-5M to fight Mean Machine and probably made 5-6M against Khan. He's not starving that's for sure.

Correct -- Arum siphons boxer's primes off them for money while for the most part keeping them away from big challenges.

Yeah, he may be 4th in the overall Top Rank stable, but he is thier number # 1 welterweight soooo.....

Nevermind, the writing on the wall has only become more clear as the months have pass. This will end up another Floyd vs Manny situation, and they will fight in 6 or 7 years down the line. Yay!

              Good day to both.

You don't become number #1 by beating Jeff Horn. Until he beats someone with a pulse, Crawford remains the number four fighter behind Pac, Spence, and Porter.

A lot of quacking from the Spence team, but to be fair they’re being asked questions about their duck and rightly so. This weekend’s PPV should be in regular TV and is going to tank hard and the live gate will do even worse. I would’ve went but they priced the tix like it was Crawford-Spence.

Sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

1 question, can he even get a fight with those guys you named? It great to win the internet, but let deal in reality for a sec. Will any PBC fighter even make a fight with Crawford? Al says no...
