Kasim Ouma vs Cory Spinks Should be Made.

Stylisticlly this fight is a good match up. I want to see it more than ever now that Spinks won and Ouma is gaining momentum after the loss to Karmazin.

Thats a decent fight. Spinks if he moves alot could probably outbox Ouma.
Ouma can get lazy at times....

This fight is a big possiblity. I can tell you one thing for sure, and that's this: Ouma will not lose to Sechew Powell. I will bet anyone on that. Powell is not on Ouma's level and I highly doubt he'll have the heart to deal with Ouma's endless onslaught.

Spinks on the other hand could have the skills to outbox Ouma, but it's tough to tell. Karmazin could've gotten the nod over Ouma and I fully believe Ouma's claims about having the flu vs Roman.

this could be a good matchup, but also a boring fight. ouma might take him out in the later rounds due to corey's lack of stamina, ouma never stops throwing punches.

Sechew will be shut out. It's not even funny.

Really from what limited action I have seen out of Powell I thought this would be an interesting fight. Powell seems to have the speed advantage but Ouma has a higher punch output. Powell probably has a little more power but Ouma has the better chin I think. Is this really that big of a mismatch or is this because Powell is part of the hated "chin checkers" or whatever they call themselves?

The reason it is a mismatch is simple: Powell is not even clearly above Grady Brewer's level. Yes, the same Grady Brewer from contender. Powell got a gift decision vs Brewer, perhaps a B-minus level guy at best. If he couldn't deal with Brewer's heat, I shudder to think what he'll do when faced with Ouma.

Ouma is so relaxed. That comes from when he was forced to fight for the warring groups in Africa as a young kid. He stalks opponents with such coolness under pressure; it's uncanny. If Ouma can stand in and walk down a huge puncher like Rubio, he can do the same with Powell.

Powell may have his moments though.

I never knew he fought Brewer so closely. Did you see the fight? I heard Powell was knocked down, is Brewer a big puncher? I can't believe Powell has fought two guys from the contender.

                  Run Spinks Run.

That's what will happen all night but he still wouldn't be able to get away from Ouma all night.

Ouma by decision. I hope this fight gets made but most likely won't since Spinks is with Don King. Ouma won't give King any options on his future fights.

Yes, I saw it live on Showtime. They were hyping Powell up a bit as a future possible star, and instead he got beaten in my view by Brewer...a guy he should've soundly beaten if he has any hope vs Ouma. I never knew Powell was from the 'Chin Checkers'. That doesn't bode well for Sechew given what's been happening to those guys lately...
