Spence is looking as ghastly as I've ever seen him.
He looks like a shade of grey.
I can't see him making 147 for too much longer.
Can't be good for his health.

He looks very healthy. Spence will be out of his depth over 147. Most guys that move up move up before 30. You’re not doing much growing after that and it’s just overextending yourself. 147 is his weightclass. He may be lanky, but he’s not massive.

I don't think Porter would have taken this fight if he didn't think he had even a puncher's chance. He has been sparring with a CW for this fight. Yes, Spence is a large WW, he probably walks into the ring close to 170 on fight night, maybe better. Porter is also big himself. Can't let a fighter's height throw you off. Mikey walks around at 165+, but because he is 5'6" he is considered a "small" WW. Same with Porter.

You do realize that minus the upper weights ALL boxers fight a weight class to two above their natural body weight right? And you do know this has been going on since just about the start of boxing and the splitting up of all those weight classes right? So given your opinion that makes ALL boxers of lower weight classes “a size whore.” Or is it just the elite boxers you get pissed at because they excel in their craft no matter the weight?

Now, to answer, just go look at the average WW dimensions and get back to me but I guarantee that very few of them are 5'10" with a 72" reach and enter the ring in the 170's. He's almost Roy Jones' size and Jones started at 154 lbs. and beat a heavyweight champ at his heaviest.

And do you think it's a coincidence that you're naming nothing but all time greats who went on to be successful at higher weight classes? You're so naïve that you don't even know that you reinforced my point.

If you truly watched Tyson how do you explain his rise? How do you also explain Ruiz’ rise? In Tyson he was the smallest man in his division. In Ruiz he too is one of the smallest men in his division so why didn’t AJ whoop up on Ruiz? He has the longer reach. He is a much taller fighter. I’m basing your response on subject ignorance. Your logic dictates that whenever the bigger guy wins it’s because he has all these advantages but have yet to explain when the opposite occurs. Face it, Spence is a super talented elite boxer.
