And who exactly has Spence beaten that makes him the best? Brook? No, he was damaged goods, but Brook put up a decent fight...Garcia? Too small and Spence struggled with him. So really Spnce hasnt done anything magnificent either...so him and Crawford need to fight, IF he beats Porter.

Spence didn't struggle with Mikey.. He won every round. if Spence tried to knock him out and didn't.. I would hold that against him.. But he never went for it.. No bullying.. Just straight boxing.. And Spence won every round. and this is what he said weeks leading up to the fight. Now.. As far as brook being damaged goods.. Spence broke the other eye. And it was in Brooks hometown! Crawford didn't go to Australia to take Horns belt. Secondly.. Who's better Horn or Brook? Spence is in a Championship unification this weekend against porter.. After that is another unification against Pacman.. So Spence is doing more to solidify that claim as the best at 147.. So until Crawford makes a case for himself or they fight, Spence is the man at 147!

Spence will have wins over brook & Porter so how would Crawford be rated higher when his best welterweight win is jeff horn? Skillwise maybe crawford is #1 but resume wise (which matters most) crawford is not #1 at welterweight.
