He already vacated 168. Henry Armstrong held the 126, 135 and 147 titles at the same time. That is like holding 5 of today's close together weight classes. Armstrong was the undisputed champion of all those weight classes. Canelo will never come remotely close to doing that. He is not the undisputed champion at any weight class and he never will be. He will not ever be the undisputed champion at 160 or 168 or 175. He can't do it. He may no longer be able to make 160 and if he still can make that weight he will still never hold all the 160 pound world titles. GGG will probably soon be the IBF world middleweight champion and Canelo has vowed never to fight GGG again. To be undisputed at 160 Canelo would have to beat Jermall, Andrade and ptobably GGG and that is never going to happen. To be undisputed at 168 he would have to beat Plant, Callum Smith and probably Benavidez and that is never going to happen. He is never going to beat all the light heavyweight champs either.

But it will be and you know it. Hateful media know it, that’s why they’re up in arms vilifying, slandering, demonizing and character assassination to keep him out Canastota, again I bet your account or anything Canelo will be inducted in the Hall of Fame. What say you? Or are you gonna coward and hide? like the coward we Canelo fans know you are.Comment

I think Kovalev is too far gone to beat Canelo but I hope he does. Canelo is an excellent fighter but not as good as some of his fan believe, He is a master at selective weight jumping with 12 to 1 underdog Fielding and now 4 to 1 underdog Kovalev and some fans think this is an incredibly risky fight. There are some risky fights Canelo could take where the odds would be close to even, like fighting GGG, Callum Smith, Benavidez or Bivol but Kovalev is not that risky. Canelo studies these boxers and expects to win before he fights them.Comment

I wish someone would advice Canelo how silly he sounds saying this nonsense??? This has to just be a bad translation??? Or he has to many yes men around him...Comment

Both GGG and Canelo will be in the hall of fame on the first vote. Being in the hall of fame is not as hard as being an all time great. I think when Canelo retires some will consider him an all time great and some will not. I don't believe there is a media conspiracy against Canelo and in fact I think the opposite is true and he gets very kind treatment by most of the media.Last edited by whoseyourdaddy; 09-24-2019, 01:27 PM.Comment

Hell, all this so called greatness if he beats a guy he is a 4 to 1 favorite to beat. To bad you don't get to decide who is an all time great, Canelo fan. That is up to everybody to decide not just you. I doubt everybody is going to declare him an all time great if he beats Kovalev as expected. Some will but many won't. He was a 12 to 1 favorite to beat Fielding and is a better than 4 to 1 to beat Kovalev. According to you these two wins make him fighter of the decade and an all time great. Seems way to easy to me.Comment
